The Forest Lion Woven Tapestry - Medieval Millefleur Wall Art, 139x87cm

Part of the larger work known as "The Forest", the subject of "Lion" is shown flanked by a fox and a hare. "Lion" was the work of Henry Dearle (1860-1932), a colleague of Morris and Burne-Jones scene, and is embellished with a background of acanthus leaves, a signature of Dearle's work.
